With Rob Gronkowski out for the year with a knee injury, Jimmy Graham now sits at the top of the tight end hierarchy. After him, their is a huge drop off at the position, both in terms of production and daily fantasy football salaries. As always, there are going to be some under-the-radar players that will produce a nice score for your team, and it’s my job to help you unearth some of those possibilities.
Here is a link to my Week 15 daily fantasy football tight ends report. If you’re wondering what my analysis is like, here’s a preview:
Jordan Cameron - Cameron had his best game of the season after a long dry spell against the Patriots last week (9/121 and 1 TD’s)/He is on a pace for 89 catches for 1015 yards and 9 TD’s/ The Bears have allowed the 6th most fantasy points to TE’s/Chicago has allowed 2 teams to score over 20 fantasy points at TE/Cameron is the #2 TE in the league and I still see him as an undervalued player/Possible.
Charles Clay - Clay was the highest scoring TE in Week 14/He is now the 5th highest scoring TE in the league/He has 7 catches in each of his last 2 games with 10 targets in each/His opportunity is rising/Clay is a on a pace for 74 catches for 834 yards and 7 TD’s/For the 2nd time this season, New England allowed 40+ points to the TE position last week/Clay is a talent player and has been undervalued in the daily games/Viable.
Martellus Bennett - Bennett has scored less than 10 fantasy points in 6 of his last 7 games/He has 2 TD’s in his last 11 games and his targets have been short in 9 games this season/Cleveland has allowed over 20 fantasy points in 2 of the last 4 games/With Cutler back this week, Bennett may have a bump in value at the goal line/Low upside.
Greg Olsen - Olsen missed some time in practice this week with a lingering foot injury/He has been upgraded to probable/Olsen has scored double digit points in 6 of his last 7 games, but he has only scored over 20 fantasy points once this season/Last week, he had a season high 12 targets/The Jets will give up points to the TE, but they have only allowed 2 impact games to the TE this season/Olsen’s role in the Panthers offense is rising and he could be Cam’s #1 option in the passing game/I like Newton this week, so Olsen is in play.
